How this service works

Penrith Bathroom Renovations is a referral service for bathroom, ensuite, laundry and small-bathroom renovations across Penrith City. You tell us about your room. We arrange a free measure. A licensed builder provides a written, itemised quote and, if you go ahead, does the work under a contract with you.

We are not a building company ourselves. Better to say that clearly on the first page you read about us.

Who carries out the work

Renovation work is carried out in partnership with Coastal Renovation Group, a licensed NSW builder. Licence and insurance details are provided on request. You can verify a licence on the NSW Fair Trading register in under a minute.

Asbestos removal, where needed, goes to a licensed asbestos removalist. Plumbing and electrical work go to appropriately licensed tradespeople.

Why value matters here

Penrith households are practical about renovation. Most people want a bathroom that looks good, works for a busy family or a tenant, and does not need doing again in ten years — at a price that makes sense for the house.

That is the brief we build around. Spend fully on the layer you never see again: waterproofing, falls, ventilation and quality cartridges. Be smart on the layer you can change later: tile price, tapware finish, accessories. And be honest when a partial upgrade is the better call than a strip-out.

What we will not claim

This is a new website. We do not have reviews to show and we have not made any up. There is no star rating, no project count and no award badge on this site, because we have nothing verifiable to put there yet.

We will not quote a firm price over the phone either. The floor, the age of the home, whether asbestos testing is needed and the exact room size all change the number.

How a job runs

  1. A free measure at your home
  2. Asbestos testing for homes built or renovated before 1990
  3. A written, itemised fixed quote
  4. Selections chosen and ordered before a start date
  5. Three to four weeks on site for a typical main bathroom
  6. A walk-through and handover with the waterproofing certificate

The deposit on residential building work in NSW is capped at 10 per cent. For work over $20,000, home building compensation cover must be in place before a deposit is requested.
