A referral service
Penrith Bathroom Renovations is a referral website. We do not perform building, plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tiling or asbestos removal work. Enquiries received through this site are passed to the licensed builder we work in partnership with.
The builder
Renovation work arranged through this site is carried out in partnership with Coastal Renovation Group, a licensed NSW builder. Licence and insurance details are provided on request.
Please check the licence yourself on the NSW Fair Trading public register before work begins, and ask to see a current certificate of insurance. The builder provides the quote, holds the contract, carries out the work and is responsible for it, including warranties and any home building compensation cover required.
What we do not represent
We make no representation about the licences, qualifications or insurance of anyone other than the builder named above, and we do not monitor insurance on an ongoing basis.
Asbestos
Asbestos removal is not part of a general renovation scope. In NSW it is licensed work carried out by a licensed asbestos removalist, and a builder's licence does not authorise it.
Many Penrith homes were built or renovated before 1990. If yours was, insist on testing before any demolition.
Approvals and warranties
Information on this site about exempt development, Penrith City Council, strata approvals and statutory warranties is general. Decisions about approvals rest with Penrith City Council or your owners corporation. Questions about a builder's warranty on a newer home should be taken up with that builder or NSW Fair Trading.
